“Hi, Ash! What is your job title?”
Hello! I’m the Digital Director here at Fresh Digital — I work closely with Lizzie, who you have already met, and Callum, who will be introduced later in this series.
“How many years of marketing experience do you have?”
I have around five years of marketing experience, plus ten years in sales. I started my career in the restaurant industry, then worked as cabin crew (I was very good at this and earned lots of commission!), moved into car insurance, and finally started working at Fresh. I’ve picked up valuable skills from all of the roles I’ve worked in.
“What an interesting career! Can you give us a fun fact about yourself?”
I can fit four boiled eggs in my mouth… don’t ask questions!
“… Ash, we have so many questions. What kind of work do you do as Digital Director?”
My role is very hands-on and varied. I manage initial client meetings, website development, social media management, and creating a range of digital content. I also work on developing marketing strategies, analysing performance, and continuously looking for ways to improve and expand our clients’ online presence. I spend a lot of time communicating with our clients to make sure that their services are tailored perfectly to their needs.
