International Coworking Day with Fresh Digital
August 9th is International Coworking Day — to celebrate, we have put together an account of a typical Monday here at Fresh Digital!
9am — Ash and Callum get started on another busy day at Fresh Digital. Ash sets to work on editing a website in response to a request from Sam at SPD Financial, whilst Callum jumps straight into back-to-back meetings. All systems go!
10am — Ash heads off on a visit to the Spring House Farm Shop to gather some new content and discuss their marketing goals. She returns to the office with some fantastic new photos from the café, some menu updates to share on social media, and (to her delight) a few of their homemade Scotch eggs.
11am — Ash starts working on a funding application for DBAD Training, who are looking to receive some support from their local council for a website revamp. Noon — Chloe clocks in from her home in Malvern. Everyone jumps onto a quick call to catch up, plan the week’s workload, and share updates. Jealous of Ash’s Scotch eggs, Chloe orders herself some lunch from a local café to fuel a busy afternoon of blog writing.
1pm-3pm — Chloe starts scheduling social media posts for the upcoming days, drawing on her previous research on awareness and national days to help increase clicks. Ash pops down to The Seven Stars Inn to discuss future updates to their website. Chloe becomes even more jealous after Ash sends photos of the plates coming out of the kitchen.
3pm-4pm — Merritts Solicitors LLP get in touch about some fantastic feedback they have received. After congratulating them, Ash creates a graphic featuring the review to share across social media, and Chloe makes a note of it to feature in a blog for their website. Now, back to blogs and funding applications…
4pm-5pm — The final push. Callum returns from a very productive day of meeting clients to catch up on some emails. Chloe uploads the blogs that she has written to the clients’ websites, creating custom graphics and optimising for SEO as she goes. Ash finishes the funding application, and saves it to be proofread and submitted tomorrow.
